Replacement traces are available in five different types. Using different combination of traces on the backbone usually result in different fish species being caught.

50cm traces nylon 50lb 0.65mm

75cm traces  nylon 50lb 0.65mm

82cm tarces  nylon 90lb 0.9mm

Floating traces are reccommended where crabs are proving to be a problem pilfering baits before target species get a chance to take the hook.

All traces have quality size  #18 hooks tied onto the trace. Flasher hooks are also popular with red and chartreuse or pink and silver  metalic. Floating traces will float up a reasonable size piece of bait. They have a  stopper that can be adjusted on the trace.

Anti tangle traces have a  clear PVC tubing covering the trace. This helps with setting of the hook out from the backbone and preventing tangles when retreiving.
